DESCRIPTION

 

The Operation Coordinators are responsible for managing the business needs of our platinum accounts, supporting our sales team and developing/maintaining strong relationships with our carriers.

 

Operation Coordinators are responsible for:
 

  • providing a high level of service to our clients
     

  • maximizing profitability
     

  • identifying, communicating, and resolving issues in a proactive manner

 
 

RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to):
 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carrier dispatchers and customer contacts.
     

  • Actively source new carriers to support business growth
     

  • Collaborate with the sales team in real-time to ensure business needs are met
     

  • Dispatch loads on time and meticulously track loads until they are delivered.
     

  • Proactively identify potential problems and devise necessary solutions; escalate as needed.
     

  • Provide timely accurate quotes.
     

  • Effectively communicate proactively with internal and external contacts.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
 

  • 2+ years experience in a logistics coordination role focused on perishable/refrigerated goods.
     

  • Exposure to the Canadian market is an asset
     

  • You are resourceful, resilient & proactive in your problem-solving approach. You are Persistence and resilient
     

  • You thrive in high-pressure situations and have a strong sense of urgency
     

  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
     

  • Ability to adapt to new processes and work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
     

  • Driven to take initiative to further personal, team, and company growth. You work well both independently and as part of a team
     

  • Availability to assist customers evenings and weekends as needed
     

  • Knowledge of North American Geography
     

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills (French and Spanish an asset)
     

  • Accountability, integrity, honesty is part of your DNA
